Description of Course
This course will identify the authorization requirements for medication to be administered by a child care provider. This course includes Anaphylaxis and Emergency Medication training (i.e. EPI Pen Training).

Open to home-based providers receiving child care subsidy who do not have a current certificate or if have a certificate expiring in 6 months or less.

Virtual Medication Administration / Epinephrine Refresher Training Process:  Code One will ship you a medication training kit prior to class – you’ll need to have your kit for your training.  You will need to have a internet connected computer, tablet, or web enabled phone and web camera (a built in laptop, tablet, or phone camera is adequate).  Your instructor will present the course information, answer your questions, demonstrate skills, and observe you performing skills.  Upon completion of virtual training, you’ll complete a written examination and will be issued your authorization certificate.
